Edgebanding
Once we've machined your panels you may need to finish the edges, especially if it’s a decorative panel. The edgebanding process is used to cover the raw edges of sheet materials such as plywood, particle board and MDF, this increases durability in addition to giving the appearance of a solid or more valuable material. We provide edge banding services from 0.5mm melamine to PVC or ABS 3mm, also solid wood and veneered edging. We're able to edge both straight and curved panels of up to 50mm thick. Depending on the shape of the panel to be edged and the required thickness of the edging, we will either apply the edging manually or use our edgebander which makes light work of applying 0.4 to 3mm thick edging to panels up to 50mm thick.
